Enabling AVsitter Experience for Auto-Attaching Props

Dutchie’s furniture uses the AVsitter Experience to automatically attach props such as books, cocktails, cigarettes, shaving kits, and more. If props don’t appear in your hands, or show up inside the furniture, it usually means the experience isn’t enabled yet.

To fix this, you need to allow the AVsitter Experience in 2 places:

  1. On your land (parcel or region)
  2. In your personal viewer settings

1. Enable on Your Land

You need land rights (parcel owner or estate manager) to do this step. If you don’t have land rights, ask your landlord to add the AVsitter Experience to the parcel or region.

Firestorm Viewer

  • Top menu: World → Parcel Details (if parcel owner) or Region Details (if estate manager).
  • Go to the Experiences tab.
  • In the “Allowed Experiences” section, click Add.
  • Search for AVsitter by Code Violet.
  • Select it, click OK.

Linden Lab Viewer

  • Top menu: World → About Land (if parcel owner) or Region / Estate (if estate manager).
  • Go to the Experiences tab.
  • Add AVsitter by Code Violet under “Allowed Experiences”.

2. Enable in Your Personal Settings

Even if the land allows it, you must also accept the experience personally.

Firestorm Viewer

  • Top menu: Avatar → Preferences → Experiences.
  • Type AVsitter in the search box.
  • When it appears, set it to Allowed.

Linden Lab Viewer

  • Top menu: Me → Preferences → Experiences.
  • Search for AVsitter.
  • Set it to Allowed.

Done!

Now when you sit on Dutchie furniture, props will automatically appear in your hands. No more clicking “Yes” every time :-).
