Dutchie’s cafe table seats 2 avatars and offers them a choice between 20 female and 20 male drink, sit and game animations. The 9 different auto-attaching drinks stay on the table during most sits and games for a more realistic experience. Solo activities include solitaire and reading, and there are couple games like playing cards, backgammon and real playable chess.
Solitaire and playing cards are long sequenced animations with timed props that appear and disappear accordingly. The sitting animations can be played in 2 sequences. And all animations are complemented with bento hand animations and poses.
REZZING THE TABLE FOR THE FIRST TIME
The table comes in 2 versions, with and without a vase with tulips. They are easy to combine into larger tables for more decorative options.
When you rez this set the first time, it will rez both tables, one rotated 180 degrees and forming a table for 4 together. The rotation of the second table makes all drinks rez around the vase in the center, which looks most natural.
Sitters can choose between 9 different drinks. The last drink chosen will move to the toaster and remain there during all play and sit animations, except for backgammon. To get a different drink, simply go back and choose another.
Most games in the table are only decorational, like the backgammon set. The drawings on the cards are part of the Rijksmuseum collection, more info here: https://www.rijksmuseum.nl/en/rijksstudio/19641–dutchie/collections/card-game-deck-of-cards
During solitaire, the cards on the table appear only after the avatar has shuffled and starts to deal. And during the couple sequence Playing cards, 8 cards appear on the table after another, turning it into a long scene.
The chess game in the table is really playable. Sitters have to click on the buttons on the board to start the game.
If you wear Bento hands, the table will animate these for you. It’s best to TURN YOUR BENTO HAND AO OFF. If you are wearing a default Second Life avatar you may see your hands go to an unnatural spread.
FULLY AUTOMATIC ATTACHING OF PROPS
If you have the AVsitter experience enabled, this furniture’s props will automatically attach to your avatar, without asking permission. To enable the fully automatic attaching, AVsitter experience has to be enabled in both the land settings and your own.
Read about the steps below or watch this tutorial video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gcy403FtAk
1: Go to the World menu in the top bar of your screen, choose About Land, Parcel or Region details, then go to the last tab named Experiences. Click on the Add button for Allowed Experiences, type in AVsitter and add it. If you don’t have the rights to do this, ask your landlord to do it for you.
2: If the Land has the AVsitter experience enabled, the furniture will ask you to allow the experience yourself, when the first prop comes up. Just click yes.
Animations and security can be adjusted under the ADJUST menu.
• Security: makes your furniture usable by Owner, Group or All.
• Pose: enables discrete real-time adjustment of the poses.
• Land impact of 4 or 5 prims per table
